STUDENT SERVICES
At IES Hillcrest, students will find a well-organized and structured academic curriculum, as well as a variety of support services. These services have been carefully developed for the particular needs of international students to make their stay in the United States more rewarding.

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
IES Hillcrest offers a wide range of weekly activities at
low or no cost. This might include such things as a barbecue
and beach party, tennis, attending

STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARD
Students can receive a school ID card upon request. This can give you student discounts at many places like coffee shops, restaurants, the bank, clothing stores, hostels, and various entertainments. Click to see some places that you can get a student discount. |
STAFF ASSISTANCE
Meet Us
Our office staff is always available to assist you in
any way we can, including such things as:
- Housing arrangements
- Travel arrangements
- Activity arrangements
- Public transportation
- Opening a bank account
- Obtaining a driver's license
- Buying or renting a car
- TOEFL test arrangements.

STUDENT LOUNGE
Students can hang out and relax in the lounge during breaks and after class. We have comfortable couches where you can read magazines or the daily newspaper, the San Diego Union Tribune. Or you can just chat with students from other countries.
In the Student Lounge, you can help yourself to coffee, tea, and drinking water. Snacks are also provided most of the time. There is a bulletin board to post things for sale or activity announcements. There is another bulletin board where you can read the school newspaper, the Flying Pig, and look at exceptional essays written by other students.
COMPUTER LAB
Our Computer Lab is open to students during school hours. Students can work on class projects and homework as well as surf the internet or check email. Students who want to bring their laptop can get internet access through our wireless connection. We have PCs, a Mac, and a color laser printer.
